Osborne's bio bills her as a "singer/songwriter with music embedded in her DNA." As well as being a well travelled artist, this is also a well travelled album, having been recorded in such diverse locations as South Africa and Belgium. Its content is also of variety. With gentle melodies, fierce guitar work and just the right amount of fire behind Lara's voice, this album is both moving and exciting. Though many of the lyrics deal with hardship, particularly those hard times faced whilst growing up, they are presented in such a way as to put the emphasis on the positive, on the strength found in faith. A dedicated touring artist, Lara Osborne is a name to watch out for.
